The Collective is a not for profit voluntary organisation that provides on-set experience to budding actors and crew.
We all have something to give, learn and teach.
We bring people with all levels of ability together to make short films. You'll gain experience, build your CV and portfolio, make new contacts, friends and get show reels of your work with us.
If you are interested in any area of the film industry be it acting, or the production side then you're in the right place.
Because we work as a team one minute you could be acting in a scene and the next holding a boom mic for the sound team.
Anyone can join regardless of experience level, gender, age or disability.
If you are under 18 you will need an adult to sign you up with their contact information and you must be chaperoned at all times on set.
It only takes a few minutes and it's totally free. We are based in Manchester and film in the Northwest but you can join wherever you live as long as you are prepared to travel.
We usually film around five short films a year lasting between 10 and 15 mins each and when you are a member if we think a role suits the profile you have given us we'll offer it to you. We film either on Saturday's or Sunday's from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm so you can fit filming easily around your day job. Why not join us and have fun while learning.
